Webinar recording: Food prescriptions with Kate Mulligan

On January 25, we hosted a discussion with Dr. Kate Mulligan about food prescribing. Kate presented on social prescribing and opportunities related to food, and discussed ways to measure the impact of food prescribing.

This webinar was designed for the Anchor Cohort, where some teams are prototyping the idea of food prescriptions with their communities

 
 

Dr. Kate Mulligan is Senior Director, Canadian Institute for Social Prescribing (CISP) and Assistant Professor in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She is a globally recognized expert in community approaches to health and wellbeing and led one of Canada's first social prescribing pilot projects. Kate is an expert advisor to the Canadian Red Cross in the areas of collective impact, community health, and social prescribing. She is especially interested in the role of community-scale leadership and intervention in the production of health and wellbeing and leads high-impact advocacy and research for healthier, more equitable and more sustainable policy and practice.
